The Bridgewater-Raritan student was the only passenger on the bus when Joseph Galietti made the comments, Bridgewater police said.
Galietti was arrested around 2 p.m. on March 10, authorities said.
"Galietti was interviewed by detectives and based upon statements and evidence, the charge of harassment was sustained," local police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
